President Trump Allocates $3 Billion More For COVID-19 Vaccine From Multiple Sources

President Donald Trump has given over a billion dollars to Bill and Melinda Gates’ vaccine alliance Gavi. Soon after, the President announced a $2 Billion deal with big pharma group Pfizer for 100 million doses of their vaccine prototype. A successful test of the vaccine’s safety and effectiveness could result in the U.S. buying another 500 million doses. So far, the United States has donated more than $12 billion for the development of COVID-19 vaccines and related therapies since the pandemic.
